Jamie Everitt

Jamie Everitt is a vocalist, clarinetist, and pianist from Key West, Florida who has been performing on stage since she was five years old.

Active in both music and theater, Jamie has grown up surrounded by the vibrant arts community of the Florida Keys. She has spent years developing her skills through consistent practice, live performance, and a deep love of music.

Jamie has had the opportunity to learn from and perform alongside several of Key West’s respected local musicians, including her mentors Bob Boyd and Joe Dallas, as well as Skipper Kripitz and Wayne Sorbelli. These experiences have helped shape her as a performer and deepen her love of jazz and live music.

At Key West High School, Jamie serves as first chair clarinet in the marching and concert band, earning Superior ratings at state music competitions.

She is also the piano player and a featured vocalist for the Key West High School Jazz Band and performs as part of the Key West High School Steel Pan Ensemble

Outside of school, Jamie is the vocalist for Zero Turbulence, a jazz band she helped start with three fellow musicians and friends. Together they perform at venues and community events throughout the Keys.

As a junior at Key West High School, Jamie maintains an A average while balancing a full schedule of rehearsals, performances, and theater productions. She hopes to continue studying music in college after graduation.

Jamie has been accepted to the Berklee College of Music 5-Week Summer Program, a school she has dreamed of attending for years. She is raising funds to help cover tuition, travel, and housing.
